How a Pandemic-Era Zoom Group Taught Me To Use Medium
These are the easy rules to follow for pubishing a story here.
In 2020, a friend recommended a Seth Godin marketing course. It was full of people stuck at home for COVID-19, and it was fantastic way to interact, learn marketing and occupy the hours inside brought on by the pandemic.
It came with a surprising bonus in that I also learned a lot about this platform. Knowledge that helped me start making money here.
When the course ended, various groups sprung up and I joined one that collaborated about Medium writing. They held a weekly meeting on Zoom — because everything was on Zoom during Covid-times and in two meetings I learned everything I needed to know to be successful here. Little things but important things.
Medium has changed various aspects in the intervening years, but these “rules” have proved universal. If you have a tip I missed, please add it in the comments.
